adapter for fuel filter

Hi,

I got a russel fuel filter that uses AN connections, how do i connect it with the stock fuel line?

I have a AN connector that fits the thread on the fuel line but the problem is it leaked, i found out its because i need a coned fitting. Im certain the adapter i want exists i just dont know what its called. Ive asked 6 local shops for help but no one could help.

It's going to be a cocktail of fittings and adapters, and the line with the banjo fitting that goes to the rail is going to be a challenge to adapt. You're best off just getting a fuel line kit and a filter-to-rail kit. You could also buy a roll of 3/8" stainless hard line for cheap, replace your stock line with that, allowing the pump to "breathe," flare it, and be able to attach it right to the filter. Then you would be left with buying an adapter for the pump end, 2 flare nuts, 2 flare nut collars, and the filter-to-rail kit.

ramsack: I already have a Aeromotive Fuel Rail so connecting the filter to the rail wont be a problem. but thanks for the link to that 3sx page! i think the "3SX Custom Fitting - 6AN Male to m141x1.5 Female INVERTED FLARE" would be exactly what im looking for.
