So I installed my new Prosport mechanical boost gauge and took the car out to test it. The boost gauge was reading 19psi as my max boost. My car has a 2G MAS, intake and 3" exhaust, everything that is boost related is completely stock. So I assumed I was overboosting due to something the previous owner did.
This morning, I got my Innovate LC-1 WBO2 setup up and running. I took the car out again and was boosting "19psi" but had an A/F ratio of 10.5:1 at WOT. If my car was actually making 19lbs of boost, I don't see how my A/F ratio would remain on target. I have stock injectors and DSMlink on the way, my fuel map is bone stock.
So that leads me to conclude that my boost gauge is way off. It's reading 20hg at idle and 19psi max boost. Has anyone else had issues with this gauge?
