I just installed my prosport mechanical boost guage. I just have one question. What wire on the cig lighter should i connect my orange wire to? I need it to tap in to the headlights. The cig lighter has 4 wires coming off of it, 1 in the middle (i used for my 12v ignition sources), 2 on the left, and 1 on the right. I tapped my gauge in to the green one coming off the left (where it connects to the light) but i don't think the gauge changes color when i turn my lights on (its still light out, but i couldn't notice a change.) Is that the right wire to tap in to? I also tried the black wire right next to it but i don't think that worked either.

Thanks!

I tapped mine into the green wire(pretty sure it has a white stripe) in the dash. So when you turn on your markers/lights it switches to the alternative color. OR you can wire it into a switch so you can switch between white/alternative color with or without turning on your markers/lights.

There are a ton of posts/articles on this. Search it!

The gauge is in the a pillar

It is grounded on a bolt attached to the firewall to the left under the steering wheel, behind the fusebox. The white light works, it just doesn't switch.

Mines tapped in to the green one as well, i'll play with it some more. Thanks.

And i did search, it just said tap into cig lighter, not exactly which wire (so i guessed on the green one)
