I have the peak/hold electronic boost gauge and i can't mute the warning sound on start up.

What i was instructed to do:
Press down and hold the button
Turn the ignition
Let gauge do it's opening ceremony/ full sweep
Release button

I held down the button before turning the key, then turned on the car and held until the ceremony stopped. Shut down the car and turned on the car, but the warning sound was still audible. Anyone know how to mute the warning sound on every start up?

This is how my gauge is wired.
Power + connected to cig lighter (blue) wire.
Ground - connected to cig ground
White connected to Blue (ACC) wire
Orange not connected
