I had some extra time this past week and decided to tear out my dash.
Ive had the A/C removed for several years and rarely use the heat. I also needed to take out the pedal assembly to check it, but overall I think I was just bored. I removed around 30 lbs of rubber mat/padding, plastic air vents, and gutted the heater box minus the heater core. Removed the vent controls, replaced them with gauges, and ziptied all of the heater box linkage so the defrost will work when needed. Also replaced the upper airvent with an aluminum plate for the safc and replaced the A/C button with a indicator light for my methanol kit. Oil pressure gauge is going in the 3rd hole. Looks pretty cool I think.
