Hi guys,
So Im having electric issues with my ac compressor. I did a fuse box relocation to the inside of my car so I know its an electrical issue, because it was working before and I took it to the mechanic and he checked the fuse box and stuck a tool into where the fuse for the ac goes and got it to work, I told he id check out the wires. When I got home I stuck a wire like shown and the ac would work. The two wires above in the same fuse location appear to be ground that turn on and off the ac, I figured those went to the button that turns on the ac on my dash. The dash button didn't appear to be broken. After running like that for about 10 minutes looking for the messed up wire, the condensor line in the engine busted and started to spew freon. The line never got cold which had me believe that the compressor was on but something wasn't letting it circulate. Im thinking whatever that was that wasn't allowing it to circulate might be part of my issue.
I have a manual but the wire guide doesn't help. Can someone give me an idea at what to look at or look for or even a breakdown of how the ac in the car works. Thanks!

I included this picture because when I turn on the car the wires above where the fuse goes are normally ground and when I turn off the car something in here clicks and it turns to a power source. I'll try and get more pictures of what im talking about.

I hope all that makes sense. Thanks in advance for your help!

If the system doesn't sirculate then the spantion valve is clogged, you need to replace it.. Now on the pic where you have the wires hooked up, that's the ac compressor relay,,, that relay comes on from the ac push button...
What year is your Dsm, 95/96 is different from 97/99, knowing the year will let us know what system you have so we can help better.

Do you think the expansion valve just wasn't kicking on? That that might be my electrical short? I checked the wire and one side was negative and the other side didn't light up negative or positive

Looking at the wire diagrams the green-orange is the more positive as it comes directly from the compressor ECM which applies +12v when turned on. The other white-green is just the green-orange connected through the 2 switches in the dual pressure switch.

Only a few seconds as a test. And even then it will only turn on the compressor if the compressor ECM is providing +12v on that connector, and the AC refrigerant temp switch is on, and the ECU trys to turn the compressor clutch relay on. And all that won't tell you if the dryer is physically bad, just that the non dryer stuff is good.
