Hi

My car abs kamp seems to work fine - no issues. Turns on and goes away after the car starts Z

But the abs is simple just not working. It Blocks on all 4 wheels

I have no delete kit or anything so I might would Think it is the computer.

But where are it located ?

Passenger foot well, underneath the carpet, under the glove compartment

Picture: ABS ECU
Cool Thanks, is there Way to trick the ecu thinking the abs works but doesn’t ?

Because my abs lamp is doing every it should but the abs when inspected does not seem to work ?

I found out that I Have the 50A fuse for the abs but not the 10a fuse ?

I have the pump and the computer (under the passenger side) did my trim simply not come with abs ?

10A is missing, I have abs ecu and the abs pump and the whole setup. But no fuse to put in, is there a wire some where I Can Connect ?

As a test, try either of the 10A fuses for the hi beam lights or A/C, just to the right of the circled missing fuse in your photo, to see if that brings the ABS system back to life.

I am not sure I understand what you mean sorry ? 😕 the 10A fuse are missing and there is no clip to hold a fuse either? 🤷🏻‍♂️ you cannot fit a 10A fuse Down since there is nothing to hold it

Ok, you didn’t tell us that.

Without either of the fuses in place, ABS should be non-functional. Is that the case?

And is the goal here to get it functioning?

sorry for not being more accurate.
Everthing for the abs is there, exept for the 10a fuse in the fusebox.
The abs lamp blinks normal as it should but the system is not working at all. And the MUT wont Connect to the computer.

My guess is that the car came with everything installed but without the option for abs. And then Maybe previous Owner just installed the abs light to get it through our stricked inspection here in denmark.

It would be good ift the abs did work so I Can get it through inspection

So please tell me what to do?

Yes the goal is to make it work if I Can

Being that it’s a Euro model, I don’t have much to offer. That position of the fuse box on the US models is not used. I do not know how different the wiring is between the two.

Are you certain that fuse box cover is original to the car?

Yes I am sure it is original. It is not the euro. It is the Japan version (exported) it was born without EGR as Well.

Okay so you don't either have the 10A fuse for the abs ? But yet still have it ?

I may have jumped the gun a little bit. I’m going to approach this as the wiring being the same as a US model and ignore that cover to explain. The below are for a FWD turbo model. It appears that missing 10A fuse is only used in some (earlier model years) of the AWD cars, not all. Here’s a thread looking for the same fuse in AWD Talon.

Here are the ABS specific diagrams:

In those, we see that the following fuses are used:
Fusible link 8
Junction Block multipurpose fuse 8 and 13
Dedicated fuse 2 and 11

Here is the diagram for the fusible links:

You can see that the cover you have shows the 10A ABS fuse in dedicated fuse position 1 and, referring to the diagrams, there is no such fuse.

Fusible link 8 you have in place (50A - ABS).
Dedicated fuse 2 you have in place though it is labeled differently than expected (15A - Stop Lamp Stop).
Dedicated fuse 11 I cannot see from my end (right side of yellow “cage”, I.O.D. Alimentation, 10A - Room Lamp Habitacle)
The multipurpose fuses are in the cabin (8 - Gauge, 13 - Heater Relay).

Verify that those are all in place and are good first off.

Thanks so much for help so far. I have the 50A fuse, when I take that out the abs lamp is on constant

Fuse 2 I have not checked, Can that be the reason there is no power to the abs - ecu?

11-12 is radio and room light is says- both works

Heater works and all gauges works as Well in the speedo ?

So What to do ? 😕

What to do is run the diagnostics. It is going to require investigation on your end to get to the cause of the issue. Full diagnostics are available in the service manual here: Service Brakes, pages 51-84.

The ABS lamp should come on and remain on if you remove the 50A fuse - so that is correct. Removing the 50A fuse disables the ABS.

It looks like most diagnostics are completed with the aid of the scan tool so if it is not possible to connect with the tool, that is a good place to start diagnosing, per the manual.

First - your axles do have the toothed rings on them for the ABS speed sensors, right?

You can easily check the ground connections by testing the continuity of pins 16 and 19 at the ABS ECU to ground. You also want to make sure the grounds at the data link connector are good (pins 4 and 5 of B-28).

You can also easily check that power is at the ABS-ECU connector pins 14, 15, 17, 18, and 21.

Here are the diagnostic pages to start with:
