Glad to see this project is still going, you have a very inspirational DSM man, I love what your doing with it, it's my dream setup. And your living it. Rite now your like a Jake montgomery or tim swytzer or sean Ivey, you heading up there man. Don't give up on this car because your doing something great, something that makes all of us other DSMers fill with inspiration and motivation to get to where your at with yours someday. So I thank you. I hope to meet u and see your car in person someday. I will be attending the shootout this year with my GST, maybe your talon will be done by then? I really hope so. Keep up the good work, your talon is the shiit man.

Wow amazing build! I want to see this thing fly down the track! You will love those fic 2150's! I switch to them from 1750's with the easy tune box and my car idles perfectly with no misfire issues at all!

I dont even have it running yet. I switched to grp aluminum rods and have not gotten the motor back in yet.

Got the motor almost back together. The engine was at Will's house and some how I managed to leave 1 head stud at my place, so the head was not able to be glued on. I am going to look for the stud then put this head on.

I would like to ask why your not running a kiggly girdle for added support? What compression are you running?

I plan to add one over the winter, I just didn't have the extra money when I had the new rods put in. I know it doesn't make sense, but I am tired f having to take the thing back out because of "x" part. I will pull it over the winter and install one but for now I just want to enjoy the car. 9:1 compression

Yeah, I had to spend a couple years over seas and then about 3 years only being home 2-4 days a month. I also spent 8 months in Hawaii so I have actually not had a real long time to work on it. What blows my mind is that in like the past 4 or 5 years I put less than 1000 miles on it and I drove it for about a month total.

haha sounds like me with my GSX, ive owned that car for like 7 or 8 years but only driven it about 70 miles Lol its always been the Project race car, its been living in the garage ever since. keep up the good progress dan looks great
