A couple of problems that I can't figure out need some help.

1. Ok to start off, I bought a t-28 of a kid checked the shaft for play and there was barley any, but I did notice some little scraps on the intake side of the inlet , but no play. So I put the turbo on and it's was fine for about two months, I go to install my mbc and I decide to check for play and there was some up and down play and that's all. How could I have killed my turbo that quick? Mind you I didn't have a boostguage at the time the turbo was installed so I had no idea that I was running 15lbs. Could this have killed it? Did I do anything wrong when I installed it?

2. I was having uncontrollable boost so I bought a mbc to keep it down to around 10lbs. I hooked it up right. I used this forum http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-turbo-system-intercooler/237982-best-way-install-mbc.html.

And I have it all the turned out and I went for a drive and I gave it some gas and she still went up to 20lbs I let off right when I seen that. I just don't get it. Any help on any of this would be great thanks.

How could you have killed it that quick? Perhaps the turbo came from a blown engine and was loaded with metal. Chances are you did nothing wrong.

....and how much is "some" up and down play?

If all you want to run is 10psi, ditch the MBC and just run a vacuum line directly from the nipple on the compressor cover to your wastegate actuator.

I can move it about a 8th of an inch up and it's noticeable.

Once I installed my greddy bov I noticed also that my boost would go nuts on me aswell. I can put my stock one back on and the boost level will drop back down. I only mention this because, if I do just run a vacuum like you say, will I still run into problems?
