Does anyone know how to remove the black clips in the motor bay that hold down the A/C lines? I am taking out the A/C but I want to keep all the parts for the A/C incase I change my mind later and want A/C back. So I want to save these clips. If you don't know how to remove them, can you buy them somewere?

@iugrad92turbo Have you ever taking one of these clips off yourself? I am looking for how to take them off the car in one piece. I will of course be careful but they will not come off with pliers/screwdriver with out breaking them, I tried already. I can't get them from a salvageyard if they can not come off without breaking.

So basically, break them off and look for new ones then? Does anyone have a part number for these by any chance? It would help me out. Or any other ideas? What did you do when you took out your A/C? Oh and I am painting the engine bay so they will for sure need to come off.

I removed mine years ago, and ive broken parts i learned sometimes clips are a one time use, my ac has been gone it never worked anyway. Part number is mu 481044, i called the dealer. Usually when you cant find parts i call the dealer easier than hunting for them, saves time plus their new.

You can if you are real careful. I took mine off when I painted the engine bay, I think I broke all but one of them and then I lost the one good one... To get them off it is kind of a gentle pry and get something in the hole to release the clip. The tab is on the flat side of the clip...
