I have looked everywhere and keep finding that the 2G N/T Transmissions take GL4 Gear Oil, well no one seems to carry GL4 anymore and just carry GL5 now, will it kill my Transmission to put the GL5 Gear Oil in it?

I just use lucas gear oil in all of my manual trannys, works great. GL4 is just 80/90 gear oil so you could put any type in there as long as the weight is right, I still recommend lucas though.

WRONG.
N/T DSM transmissions MUST use Chrysler-specific gear oil to accomodate their fibre synchro brakes.

I just picked up some performance gear oil that meets the specs. Now to get it in bleed the Clutch and all should be good :D

And it is all done :) Runs and shifts very smooth now that I put the fluid in the right part and bled the lines properly :D Thank you all for the help along the way.

The Mopar part number for the dealer fluid is (was) 04874465, if there is any left. ATF+4 succeeded the NV-T350 fluid recently. Use either, though the ATF+4 is far cheaper.

Use ONLY one of these two fluids in your 2gnt's NV-T350 manual transmission.

ive been using 75-90 royal purple it complies with mopar specs and is actually cheaper.....greedy broke bastards
