98 elcipse non turbo

The car will not,rev above 4k. Just switched out the
Throttle position sensor
Cam shaft sensor
Coolant temp sensor
Map sensor
Ecu
And a few other things. But it,still acts like a rev limiter at 4k. If I'm in 1st or 2nd get the car to,4k shut the key off and back,on it'll rev all the way?!!?

Did you check the throttle to see if it opens all the way? Maybe it is getting stuck...

Yeah. Like I said if you shut,it off and back on. It runs like New haha.

Sounds more like the ECU is going into "limp mode" if it's actually limiting revs. Could be for a variety of reasons, but will give you something to start searching. No check engine light or anything? Usually it's accompanied by one.

Also, auto or 5-speed?

Sorry fellas been,busy. ,but I put a new ecu from one that ran fine. And it's a 5 speed
Also the check engine light is on. But,it's reading map sensor
