2G 97 tsi awd saturn alt swap questions !?!?

hey guys

hopefully easy stupid question here

installing the good ol saturn alt into my talon

did all the grinding i can and it seems to be rubbing the coolant line going from the pipe to the turbo ??
anything that can be done with this to get the alt to mount nicely in there

its close ...real close ....i can get the bolt though one side but its off center to get it to go through the other side of the alt !!!

ideas or what did you guys end up doing !!

+3 - Galant (1996 IIRC) - plug and play. Easy and no fitment issues at all. I have one on my car and it was a simple unbolt, and bolt new one up and plug in.

It's a matter of availability. ..have saturn alt now need car back on road in 3 days

I already have a new factory alt coming just a week out still

Don't need galant alt really as I am in canada have a 90 amper allready

i'll be running a Saturn alternator. More amps and only needs light mods to the mount and plug. its just a preference.
