2G 97 gsx shuts off after hard pull

im working on a 97 eclipse gsx. i put a new motor in its runs and sounds good the only issue im having is when u run it really hard like a block long first and second gear pull. when u come to a stop it shuts off. just cant seem to figure it out any ideas ???

did you recirculate the bov? make sure you do

If the bov is recirc'd and not leaking from the recirc tube then do the idle control reset thing.

if you just finished doing the swap there is a learning period on the ecu where it will cause it to stall when coming to a stop try driving it smooth for about 5-10 miles and then see what happens

what if mine does that as well .. but not a rebuilt engine.. and also bov is not recirculated.

is your car set up on speed density or are you using a maft?

it is basically a stock 2g with the exception of an evo3 16g and a hks bov. stock massair , 510 injectors , adj. fuel regulator , and thats it
