Hi i was wanting to upgrade my stock tubro to a big 28 and was wondering what all else when i need to do this?

so far i got a

boostgauge
Maf
SS Tubular Manifold
greedy RS bov
3" down pipe with not Cat converter
magum plug wires with ngk plugs

so would this set it work for a big28? or do i need to upgarde anything else?

just to make it work properly get a boost control and a fuel pump. To take full advantage bigger injectors, FMIC, boost control, fuel pump, some kind of tuning device, upgraded clutch.

what kinda fuel pump do i need to get? and i forgot about the boostcontroler i need one of them as well

walbro 190lph or a walbro 255lph are the weapons of choice, and price is about the same, but i believe if you get a 255lph pump you HAVE to have a FPR also...

To run the t28 at higher than stock boost levels you will need a rewired Walbro 190 fuel pump or a 255(requires an afpr). Injectors, I would go with 650's unless you are getting dsmlink to tune with than I would go with bigger. You will need a way to control the fuel, so an afc, or dsmlink, ecu+ etc. A boost controller as stated before. Do you have a catback also? Or just a downpipe? Want to get that air out quicker so a catback exhaust would be pretty key. Your stock sidemount intercooler will most likely get heat soaked. You could go with a supra sidemount or the best option would be a fmic. You should get a logger to monitor everything so you don't accidentally blow your engine.
If you start pushing up the boost, your stock clutch will probably start slipping so would be a good time to upgrade that, I would recommend an ACT 2100.

I would sell the SS tubular manifold and get your manifold ported or do it yourself. I have recently done the same thing. I used to have a tubular manifold and opted to go with a ported 2g manifold instead. It keeps the stock appearance so prying eyes arent any wiser as to what you have. :thumb: My opinion though.

i think its a 3" down pipe there is no caddy converter on the car

That means then that you have a 3" downpipe that eliminates the catalytic converter. A catback exhaust connects to where the catalytic converter would be, since you have a cat delete downpipe it would connect right to the downpipe. A catback would be a very good idea as it is flowing well out the downpipe and then shrinks down to the stock catback and becomes very restrictive, limiting performance gains from the bigger turbo.

I would recommend in my oppinion:

DSMlink
650 cc injectors
Walbro 255 pump + FPR
Fuel Pump Rewire
2100+ ACT Clutch or similar
Supra Side intake upgrade
Port the heck out of the 2G O2 housing
ARP head studs
LSD of some sort

Obviously this list is not cheap, but you would get the max benefit from the turbo. Or just get an Evo 16G and make gobs more power.
