hey so my 97 GST is a project car and I bought this car last year in October and the previous owner of the carhad a rod knock stupid girl and a bad ecu. So I just had the engine swapped out what's a 95 GSX engine I had the mechanic shop wire in the Cass cam angle sensor since 97 to 95 had different camera angles answers which I red on the form here and I swap plug wires like I was supposed to. this car the amount of work I put into it with the mechanic shop a new timing belt water pump alternator belt power steering belt thermostat spark plugs spark plug wires a new clutch flywheel and pressure plate a new ECU a new driver CV axle and valve cover gasket. a new gas tank fuel pump fuel pump assembly and fuel gauge.all this is done at the mechanic shop. the main point I'm getting at is I just him trying to figure out why the car keeps shutting off every time I started I hit the gas and rpm drop and the car shuts off. the mechanic shop is telling me that the turbo isnt opening up the turbo was working fine it's a stock turbo.the car sometimes throws a cell when shuts off. any help would be greatly appreciated. I put four thousand dollars into this car. When I turn the ignition it keeps click click click then it start but still die. even if I have my foot on the gas and raised rpms high it will still die and shut ofg.
