I know this has been answered a number of times but im wanting a direct answered. Im looking for a good complete rebuild kit for my engine I have aftermarket header, td05h turbo, front mount intercooler, brian crower 280 cams, full 3magnaflow exhaust, megan downpipe, dsm link, and a computer thing that goes into the downpipe. Also hks blow off valve. I had a bad rod bearing. Im sending block, crank, and head to machine shop. Just wanting good rebuild kit. Ideas please!

Ive seen this question before and i never saw a complete kit, best thing is to try vendors for parts, even many online stores carry partsto rebuild a engine.

Thank you. Do you know of a rough estimate about how much you think it'd cost to for everything like gaskets timing, etc?

Get on ebay and find mizzumo motors. Buy the kit with npr pistons and rings and acl bearings. They are very good parts and it will cost you about 130 bucks + shipping.

Also depends on if you want oem, or some parts that arent such as bearings, oil pumps, water pumps, unless you want all oem parts. I would also figure out what you want to rebuild, do you need a full rebuild top and bottom end, i just did a rebuild with various parts, some oem, arp, and a mix of felpro stuff, again it wasnt a kit build.

I want a good solid build. I have some good stuff off the engine but I would like to o all new I have a 1100 budget. For machine shop and all gaskets, pumps, everything haha this is a budget 350hp build:) I'm calculating two weeks it'll be done so I need a lot of good advice quick on best parts for price.:thumb::hellyeah:

Well thats good avice above have you looked on vendor sites or mizzumo yet, what are you rebuilding more specific, every gasket nut and bolt? Try vendor sites again you may not find a everything, kit yoll find you may have to get some things seperately depending again on what brand you go with, i never saw a complete long block kit. Or even a short block kit, are you replacing pistons, rings, pumps, hardware, pulleys, tensioner head gaskets, valve cover, cam seals, valve stem seals gaskets, many types of parts can you there, still you may have to get a few parts here and there, to complete the build which you should be able to find. First find a vendor add parts you like, and fill in what you cant find there, and before you know it youll have everything you need for yor build and goal.

Mizumo has the rebuild kit im going to order. Thanks guys!! Lots of help! Iugrad92turbo. Do you show your talon?

Go to the supporting vendors page and do research. I'm blowing by 7 grand right now, my grin will be worth it tho
