My 97 Eclipse 420a keeps cutting out, it runs fine sometimes then all of a sudden it goes through a fits. The battery and check engine light will flicker, something under the dash clicks and it kills the motor. I can keep it running by giving it gas but it will still do this cuttting out thing from time to time. Im guessing something electronic? Feels like i have replaced every dang sensor and parts on this already. Any ideas would be great!!

Do you have a multimeter? Try testing the alternator's output at idle.
I have a digital voltage gauge and it's like 14v most of the time. The alternator was replaced about a year ago.
Edit... That might not be sufficient so I can test directly from the alternator its just like 10° outside right now so it might take me a few days till it warms up a bit.

Try wiggling all the wires and connectors in the engine bay while running to see effect (start with critical ones needed to run engine). Perhaps you have an internal wire break or a connector pin is not locked in place (so it gets pushed back and intermittent connection when connector plugged in).

I'll second the alternator especially if it's a parts store one. They're garbage now days and can have issues right out of the box. If the issue is predictable, you can even just disconnect it and see if it goes away. The alternator can show a good charge but the regulator can still have issues.

Also second jiggling connectors and tracing the source of the click.

Last time it cut out, I started wiggling the wires that were right by rhe computer and under the air intake. Seems like it could be a bad wire in that harness by the computer and air intake. I have no clue how to trace it to a single wire tho.
