2G 97-99 CAS wiring to 95 harness

Need to know the correct way to wire a 97-99 cam sensor , on a 95 harness.


Yes I know how to do a 1g cas wire in. & also know swapping plug wires for 99 cas on 95. Which I don't need to do as I have link.


I have searched Google & tuners for this. Only found 1 thread off this exact issue . Their were 0 Replies. Yet plenty of people that have done it.

All you're doing is extending the wires and matching the colors from the '95 harness to the '97+ CAS.

I don't have an original cas harness for that . The one I have has all new wires .. The harness caught on fire before so wires were replaced.

So your problem is not having a way to connect it all, not the wiring itself?

If you want a connector on there, I suppose that means you ought to find one. Otherwise you could try something like this, though I personally wouldn't: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/453851-cas-plug-repair.html.

I have the connectors. Just not sure which wire goes where . As their all the same color (blk)

Check continuity of the wires you have with the "other" ends. Use the 2G electrical connections link provided to get the correct orientation in the connector.

The should-be-blue wire goes to ECU pin 88.
The should-be-black wire goes to ground.
The should-be-red wire is what's left over.
