I have an eclipse 95 rs and a funny thing happened to me today...i was on the high and noticed my temp gauge going up when i was braking and when i would let off the brake it would go back down.. when i leave the engine at idle the gauge goes a little but above halfway..not sure if it a broken gauge or bad sensor...has anyone had this happen to them?
checked all hoses for leaks and fan comes on...i have no clue why the gauge would almost redline when i brake

thanks i changed the thermostat and then noticed something thr ground for my stereo system had come loose....i hooked it back up to the terminal and it solved the temp gauge problem.
