My car seems to be over heating just a bit right now and i dont think its my water pump because it doesnt do it at idle. and my over flow bottle keeps filling up. i thought it was my t-stat so i replaced it and it fixed the problem for a little bit but then started again. any ideas? Bad t-stat that i put in? water pump?

Definitely do a compression test. Mine has been overheating since I got it but only after about 20 minutes. I have narrowed it down to the head gasket, but it were any other car it doesn't have the same symptoms as a blown head gasket. I started stock piling parts for the fix.
