Heya Guys,
My Edmonton car club has recently purchased a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse non-turbo and is in the process of fixing her up.
First problem we've run into is the alternator is not supplying any juice.
The alternator was tested at crappytire and shown to be good.
We belive the issue to be the 12volt power being supplied to the coil from the ASD/mfi relay.
We have the haynes manual that shows the asd relay to be at the very back driver side corner of the engin bay, mounted to the firewall.
Problem is, there are 4 relay's there and i cant find any info as to which relay is which.....
We spent the majority of last night testing continuity to the alternator plug from all of the pins on all 4 relays and none of them had continuity.... which leads me to belive we have a harnass issue.... I'd just like to be 100% sure before I start chopping up the harness..
Can anyone help a mitsu noob out and advise which of the 4 relays is the asd/mfi relay?
Thank you,
Jon

I've searched and searched and searched and all I can find is info on the 2 relay version or the 3 relay version.... our 95 non turbo eclipse has 4 relays...
Please help?
