Resolved 95 Eclipse gsx needs an engine, 6 vs 7 bolt

i just recently bought an 95 eclipse gsx that needs an engine. i need to know if i need a 6 or 7 bolt, what does that refer to, and what are the differences between the two

Get a 6 bolt. 7 bolts are more likely to crankwalk..6 bolt engines are 90-92.5

There are numerous differences. 6bolt means, there is 6 bolts holding the flywheel to the crank, and 7 on the 7 bolt.

6-bolt is stronger and doesn't crankwalk. Well it will, but not like the 7-bolt.
