i was wondering if anyone could tell if a motor from a 99 gst would work in my 95 gsx i know about the cam sensor being different i was wondering if that was the only difference:)

Yes it will work just fine. It's the same motor. I would suggest doin a 6 bolt swap though. Just a thought.

Yeah, you can swap them. They're identical besides the cam sensor. You probably know this already, but you can't use the fwd transmission on your awd.

I would do the 6-bolt man. You wouldnt have to worry to much about Crank walking it. If your just replacing a motor, just get a 6-bolt block with rods and pistons in it. Use the 1G big rods and attach 2G pistons and just use your existing 2G head... or grab one from the classifieds. thats what I'm doing... a Mild build.

1G Big rods
2G pistons
Muilti layer headgasket
HKS 264 cams
Fidanza cam gears
Valves, retainers, valve guides
Lifters/rockers

i would suggest you do a 6 bolt swap.
i just have my 7 bolt rebuilded, but still afread it will walk.

99gst motor will work on your 95.
