Ok, I'll start out by saying that I have researched this topic and sorry for a possible repetitive thread, the only reason I post this new one is because I have limited access to the site, being a new user, so it wont let me post in the thread I have found online.
I am in the final stages of the swap, I heard it was done before and I made the mistake of buying the 91+ shifter cables. 150$ that maybe wasn't necessary to spend.
I'm down to this, I have the 91+ shifter cables in, I have the Transmission brackets from a 90 and a 91+. I have the Shifter base from a 90 and a 91+.
The problem seems to be that the 91+ shifter cables are too long, they sit too far forward and I cant pull them to mount them on the transmission bracket.
So now I have to switch cables Im assuming, but what is a known combination? When I had the 90 cables in before, I could only get the car to 1-2-3-4 but no 5 and reverse.
