i am wanting to put a 90 ecu into a 93 what pins do i have to swap or if i do have to swap

P.S this is for a friend

You couldn't find any of my posts? There have to be 100's of them by now.

Assuming you use the right ECU type the turbo cars will need pins 6 and 14 swapped and a NT car will only need the IPS wire moved to the other pin rather than swapping both pins.

you also need to change some other things to make sure that your tach is going to run ok becasue its going to not work properly, you need to use tach signal filter from the 90 also....so pretty much also replace the coil pack and the transistor pack

Nope. The later cars don't car about the differences in the tach signal.
You only have to worry about this when you put a later ECU into a 90 car.

All you have to do to put a 90 ECU into a 91+ car is release pin 6 and 14 from the connector and swap them.
