Ok believe it or not I raced a 911 s and kept up with him from a roll. I was coming home from school I had emptied the car out completly and had about 1/4 tank of gas. I have my boost set at 14psi and it creeps to around 18psi , mods in profile. Before on my car with full interior, 1/2 tank of gas, 2.5 inch exhaust, 12psi, and bad front o2 sensor I trapped at 100mph. Now with less weight, more boost, good o2 and 3in I should be MUCH better off. Ok so like I was saying I was driving home from school and a 911 s with a great sounding exhaust speed by and I said fvck it Ill try so I drop to 3rd(plenty of courtesy for a 911) at about 55-60mph and speed up and we both go and he BARELY I mean youll wouldnt really notice him creeping on me. He would pull about an inch every 10mph.

Now You by now are pulling the bs card and are getting ready to flame me, but its true. I looked up the specs on a 911 s and they run 12.8 and with all the things Ive added and fixed I think I closed the gap pretty well. But being as thought they pull 12.8 is why he creeped. What do you guys think? Did I really add that much top end? I lknow I could best a mid-high 13 being fwd but on the high way is a different matter. flame suit on.

you gotta remember that a 1/4 is done from a stop and racing from a roll cancels out the point of have AWD to begin with. If i remember correctly they have 320BHP so with AT LEAST a 15% drivetrain loss your looking at 272 WHP. With your mods you should be about the same so i can see it happening.

EDIT: the manual weight in at 3,296 lbs and the tiptronic weight in at 3,417 lbs. Your GST should be around 2900. Now that i think about it looking at your mods you have a 190lph which is good enough to turn up to 16psi. I think if you had the boost a little higher you should have been able to creep on him.

Good race Andrew :thumb: Once I get my boost leaks fixed and a boost controller, we'll have to go to Capital together. My cousin with a mustang wants to race my roommate Jeff's camaro too. We can make one hell of a grudge match night, LOL.

Yeah thats what I thought I should be around, also about my weight the 950-96 models weighted a little less then 97-99 plus I have some weight mods done as well. I am getting a tublar o2, new intercooler, and hopefully 1g cams. With that and about15-16psi I think I could at least match him since he is somewhat local.

Yeah Chris I would love to go to crapitol to do some grudge matches :D , did you gain any boost from you leaks? if not you need to pump up the boost to at least 14psi and let her loose:thumb:

carrera's are rear wheel drive...u also have to factor in what kinda driver u and the other person is...porsche drivers usually suck cus they drive the car for its name rather than what the car can actually do...come back to us when u have a KILLED story when u go up against a 911 turbo....road in one in the beggining of the summer...0-140-0....faster then i ever thought possible
