91' 6 cylinder eclipse???

My dad is looking for a used car. He was driving in Cheboygan (Michigan) and spotted what he thinks is an older eclipse around a 91. It has the bubble on the hood like our dsm's and was definately a mitsubishi. The only thing is in the window the for sale sign claimed it had a new Larson 6cyl. engine put in it in 2000 and it produces 225 hp. He's going to look at it tomorrow and find out what thats all about but does anyone know what this car might be or if they made a 6cyl. eclipse back then??? I've never heard of them. I was thinking maybe an old 3000gt. or something

boats huh? My guess is the guy who's selling it must not know what a turbo is and figures theres no way he's getting 225 hp. out of a 4 cyl. But who knows it'll be interesting to find out I'll post again once he finds out what its all about. Larson boat motors in an eclipse I tell ya...

Well it turns out the car is a 94 talon esi. With a 4cyl. the guy just had no idea what he was talking about. And about the 225h.p. it might make a 100 .
