91 eclipse

I really need help with my car.I have read the forums but I think I have a few problems.I bought my 91 eclipse AWD with turbo about a tear ago and have never got to drive it.I love the car and really want to get it on the road.Nobody where I live knows anything about DSM's.My first problem is the A/T light does not go out and secondly it will not shift pass second gear.I have read that it will shut down to second so it won't tear nothing else up.We have checked out quit a few things but nothing works.Also the car Will not idle right it asks like it wants to bog down but if you turn on the air it speeds up and sounds better.I guess I really need to know where to start first.When I bought the car they told me the turbo was replaced.

Hi. I know you are new to the site, welcome. I personally don't know that much about A'T's or your situation. However, you are in the wrong forum to post this question. This section is for "Site Feedback", things or ideas that we can tell the moderators of the site to change or help up upon using the site better. You need to post your question in the "Newbie" section. It's where a lot of good questions are answered and where a lot of good questions have been answered before. Good luck on your project.

The first step is to read the descriptions of the Forum titles. You posted this in the wrong forum. It's been moved to the Newbie forum. I would suggest doing a bunch of research in our A/T Tranny forum. See if you can find any info there.
