91 Eclipse part ID

I need the part that connects the headlamp assembly to the actuator.
The light flips down but it pops off the ball when flipping up.
I cant find a diagram of the flip lights. The part is like a tie rod that fits on a ball, one side was white one black on allthred with two bolts to to lock the length. Looks kind of like a ball joint on the end of the lever that moves headlight. What is the name of the part.

I only knew them as headlamp linkages.
I know up here in the rust belt that used to happen quite a bit.
Once the door linkages got enough resistance from corrsion the links would pop off.
used to have to clean them up best as possible & lube up all the moving points in the doors to get them to work correctly.

You prob don't need the linkages, unless the plastic ends are cracked. Most likely, you have corrosion on the assembly itself. Take out the headlight assembly and take some light sand paper to the "frame," followed by some grease. Pop the linkages back on and they'll work like new.

80043 is just the link by itself, while 80044AL (and 80044AR) is the whole assembly. The R and L at the end of the part number just means left or right hand side, as seen from sitting in the drivers seat.
