PUT A 90 TRANNY IN MY 91 AND CHANGE UNDER HOOD BRACKET.PLAYED WITH CABLES GOT LITTLE BETTER AND IT SHIFT LIKE BUTTER IN THE 90.DO I HAVE TO CHANGE THE CABLES AND SHIFTER

yes the shifter unit has to be replaced with a 91 when doing a 90-91 tranny swap. both 90 and 91 shifter cables are the same though. if you still have problems, try adjusting the clutch. good luck.

I did replace the bracket and ajusted the cable 20 times

You need to put in a 91 shifter unit.

do you mean 90 shifter unit because I have a 91 talon with 90 laser tranny
