90' Tranny in a 91' GST

Guys, I have a 90' tranny in my 91' GST. I can't get into 1/2 gears but 3/4/5/R work fine. What do I need to change? Right now it's using the 91' bracket. I'm planning to swap it back to 90' bracket, will that work? What else do I need to do? Thanks guys!

i think you will have to swap the cables as well. i kinda have the same problem,i have a 90 car cables etc and a 91+ tranny. i cant get it into 5th and reverse is a bi*** too. just find a 90 car or send me a pm ive got an extra set of 90cables ill trade yah
