90 talon turbo or not

Ok so i bought a 90 talon for REAL cheap they tols me that the turbo blew and they swapped the motors which i can understand. But i got to poking around and i noticed it had a turbo tb on it with a turbo head turbo injectors and intake. my guess is that they just put an n/t exhuast manni on but now my question i was reading in my manual that there is a knock sensor well DUH and an egr temp sensor. Now i was under the car and couldnt see then but from the top of the car in the engine bay i see the plugs its two square plugs green and purple wires on both if i remember right. is that where the knock and egr sensors plug into. please help i have a buddy standing by to give me the turbo and all i was just wondering please help.

have you tried calling the local mitsu dealer, easy answer from them

The knock sensor is tricky to spot. It should be on the back of the motor and under the manifold. The the bracket that bolts to the manifold and the head is still in place it's nearly immpossible to see from above the engine.You could also check the oil pan. Turbo pans will have a port for the oil return line from the turbo. You can see it clearly in this pic. It's in the upper left corner

did he at least give you the turbo ecu with the car(thats if it was ever a turbo)?

It is the turbo ecu and the sweet thing is that its an eprom so im happy ill go check the oil pan right now

The title of his car should specify if it is a turbo or not.

the title says tsi and so does the body. ok i dont see the return line hook up on the oil pan .

Well if the title says tsi it def. was turbo from the factory- but why in sweet gods name would someone swap out an entire engine if a 14b is giving them trouble?

Also, check your coolant pipe next to the block and see if it has a hard line coming off of it going to where a turbo would sit, or it could just be capped.

ok im going to explain this and i hope someone will understand me. the banjo bolt for the oil in the head is capped the hard line for coolant is capped they took out the knock sensor . they replaced the oil pan with an n/a oil pan it has the turbo injectors turbo tb turbo intake smic bov all that is needed that i can see from right now is a knock sensor ehaxust mani tubo oil pan and all the lines and the piping. someone tell me if i missed something.
