90 Laser RS headache

ok i have a huge problem. my first question is i have a 90 laser rs turbo FWD. i got a 91 tsi's ecu to go iin it. my question is will it atleast run? i mean without any wire changes. i havent gotten the car to start since i had it due to a no soparrk in all cylinders. the only time i get fuel is if im spinning th cam snesor by hand or cranking the engine. when i got the car, it didnt have an ecu. so far ive changed the cam sensor, and ive got a brand new coil pack, a brand new power transistor, new plugs, and wires. ive checked all my fuses and the only relay ive checked was the MPI relay and its good. what am i missing? i havent done any tests on the transistor but ive ohmed the coils, new and old, and theyre both good. any help to get this beast alive and out of my garage again would be nice. thanks in advance!

As far as I know, the 91 ecu you got, will not work for your 90. You should find an ecu as the same number as the one your car had in it from factory. If you go to the vfaq site, there is a list of ecu numbers and the car/options they coorespond to

ok heres an update, theres 4 plugs on the cam sensor pigtail. 2 ports read 5v, ones a ground, and the others a 12v. when plugged in ill only have a 12v, a ground, and 1 5v source, the other drops to .2v. wtf!?!?!?!?! ive been lookin for a friggin ecu for forever now. i bought one from ebay from some a-hole. i was for a 90 turbo, but it looked like someone took a pocket knife to the back side of the circuit board.
when i first got the car, it didnt have an ecu in it. i pulled one out of a junkyard from an eclipse with a 1.8 out of ignorance and tried it. i got spark in 1 and 4. now even with the turbo ecu from the 91 i get nothing. did i F*** something up?

well guess what people, IT LIVES!!!!! and right after i start postin my problems. now its time to tune it and get it road ready.

if you are using a 91 ecu in a 90 you need to swap ecu pins 14 & 6.

well i swapped the pins and the tachs still messin up. what now? the upside is the cars runs much better than it did, just need to time and tune it.
