okay guys... i bought a 90 laser turbo, had a spun rod bearing, it locked up so i swapped the motor... now with the new motor in, when i crank it to start, it wil fire, run for a split second then die... if i turn the key off, try again, it does the same thing... everything that i can tell is plugged in, im using the old coil, CAS, turbo, injectors, fuel rail, pretty much everything... i can hear the fuel pump kicking on and its getting HOT spark. WHAT DO I DO??? im in a bind, the car is in my friends parents garage and i dont want to overstay my welcome....

ALSO::: The car is in PERFECT TIME...

So you know you have fuel? Spark? Compression? Car is in time? I know you said timing is perfect so that eliminates timing. How about the Throttle position sensor?? Is that set correctly? The CAS? Is that set right? Are all connectors plugged into the correct spot? Just some stuff I can think off. Also I know that when the TPS is off the the car will not idle. Can you rev the engine up at all??
