i recently got another 1g a 90 awd and ive been trying to put this thing togethere for over a month now and due to the seller being a shady d bag im have a bunch of annoying set backs.

i noticed one ecu plug missing (closet to the passanger side) i cut new plugs out of a 93 eclispe non turbo and the wires are different colors or possibly not even the same number of wires . can anyone please help me out. i can take a picture later on tonight if need be.

the pin outs arent really a help to me. i cant seem to figure out if i can use this pig tails from the 93 gs with my 90 tsi awd

The plug itself can be used without issue. Obviously the non-turbo plug with wires will not have pin 105 for the original boost control solenoid. As well, if there isn't a wire on pin 104, there needs to be one that goes to ground.

Pictures would be helpful for us to help you if that doesn't.

i don't need the bcs wire if i eliminated it correct ?

can anyone tell me what color wires from the 93 gs plug i have goes to the 90 (turbo) wiring harness in my car? this is the smallest ecu plug in question. to explain what plug i have,

top side of plug clip side(93 gs)
black,red,red/black,black(with red dots),empty
black, red,black/yellow,white,black/white

I don't understand your question. Those are the exact same wire colors in the exact same arrangement for the '90 harness. As we've covered, the slot for the waste gate solenoid, which would be a *orange* wire, is the empty slot on the '93 plug you have.

Please clarify for us.

My 90 has different color wires unless I'm missing something completely , is the missing wire on the 93 plug , the orange wire from the 90 harness ? Sorry I wasn't clearer in my previous posts . Thanks for the help . It was late last time I looked at my harness should I could have over reacted but I'm positive there's an orange wire (on the car) and no orange on the new plug which was my major disappointment

I'll let you know in the morning it's too cold ok right now to go check.

the noise condensor you have in your thread (post #13) where is that located ? *looks like that would be on my intake support bracket on my 90

nvm the peice on my intake support bracket is for the tach. do i have to leave it on the bracket or can i relocated it. i never really liked the support brackets
