its a 90 with the non turbo 2.0.
It hasn't been run in a long time. went to start it yesterday, and it started to run but then died. My friends who were looking under the hood said there was smoke coming from the driver side of the intake manifold. By the time i got out and looked the smoke was gone, so I'm not 100% sure were it was coming from, but from what my friends say it sounds like it was came from the coil.
Now I don't have any spark, so my question is would a coil that just went bad start smoking?
Also I have read that a power transistor could cause no spark, but would it start smoking and is it even near the coil. I think whatever is wrong with it has to be around the coil area because of the smoke. Also it doesn't smoke anymore just the one time now no spark.
Thanks for any info and help
