Hey guys, I've tried searching and found a few threads but never any solid answers one way or another. I know the differences between the 90 Cruise Control (electronic) and 91-94 Cruise Control (vacuum actuated).

But, can you just throw the 90 style cruise control on a 91+ car and send it? Can someone confirm you can or cannot? Are the cruise control ECUs different, and if so do you really have to pull the entire dash to change them?

Just want a solid answer one way or another. Please halp. Lol

The whole system is different. So could you? Yes, but it's too much work and no reward.

So it's safe to assume that you'd have to swap in the 90 cruise control ECU, and also safe to assume you do actually have to pull the dash to get to it? Damn. I've got a complete 90 here with all the CC stuff and it seems a shame to not be able to use it. But I ain't about to pull the dash. Twice.
