Ok so me being the cheap skate that I am I've called vatozone and ho'reilly for a reman crank. Just to see the prices they had on them
Well they're both telling me there's options for an 8 bolt crank!?
So I got online and put in 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse gsx awd turbo 2.0 and then found options for cranks. Sure enough there are options for an 8 bolt crank.
Can someone, or anyone please explain this? I thought I had heard a lot of crazy stuff when people try and talk to me about a dsm, but this....this is whacked.
Is there a 4g63t that came with an 8 bolt crank?
Is it a non-turbo crank?
Here's a link to vatozone's 8 bolt crank: Crankshaft Rebuilder/Crankshaft Kit Remanufactured (33920) | 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4 Cylinders F 2.0L MFI Turbo DOHC | AutoZone.com
I'm just baffled, lost, and confused. I searched and have not found anything here on it. Now i'm off to google to see if I can turn up anything
Ok, I think i've found that the crank is for an N/A.
But the site clearly state's "For your 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0L MFI Turbo DOHC 4cyl"
Hmmm...
