what wrist pin lock?

Wrist pin lock is like snap ring. If you ever see a p piston made for floating pins look at the hole, that the pin goes in. you will see grove cut there.

That grove holds the snap ring aka pin lock. The way press fit and floating parts are made/machined makes them none interchangeable.

I can't remember because its been so long since I had them out but I swore my IX pistons were a free floating design with a snap ring on the wrist pin. Again I could be mistaken

the stock evo 9 block has been know to handle 30+psi and 600hp all day long so you be the judge.

you can build a 1000hp block and it could let go at 200hp no one knows for sure until it happens, :hmm:
