7 bolt head on a 6 bolt motor question

I am putting my 7 bolt head on my 6 bolt motor. Now I've done a bunch of searching and I'm still kind of confused on this. I read that you have to drill out the head stud hole and I understand that but my question was about the oil passages... van they just be left as is or there more work that needs to be done to make this swap complete? Any help is appreciated.

You need to drill the head studs at minimum 12 mm, but a wiseman on this site says to drill them out to 13 mm or 1/2". The 13mm or 1/2" is done to increase the flow in the oil passages between the block and head.
