6 bolt tranny on 7 bolt motor

is it possible to take a 6 bolt tranny and put it on a 7 bolt motor
these are 2g eclipses

You must use a 2g transmission in a 2g because it uses 3 mounts vs. a 1g transmission only using 1 mount.

A 2g transmission can be used in a 1g.

You want to put a 6 bolt engine in your car. Yes this is possible.

Transmissions aren't referred to as 6 bolt of 7 bolt. Just 1g or 2g.
