alright so i have a new 7 bolt 1g head and im puttin in on my 6 bolt block. i didnt think about the 6/7 bolt when i bought it that being the reason i have it. anyways i had the holes drilled out on the 7 bolt and the head studs now fit through. problem is, on the block, the 2 far corners, theres a washer type thread that sticks up 1/8 inch. the head wont fit over the washer thing. do i have to get teh head drilled out once again or can i use a dremmel and cut the washer thing off of the block. i think its to keep the block centered but im not sure. get back to me thanks.

I take it the "washer things" your are referring to are the Dowels on the Block? We need some input here from someone who has done this "swap" - Don't cut anything till a guru shows up...

yea, it would be the dowell on the block, i couldnt think of the word before, but if someone has done this swap please let me know, because i dont know what i should do.
