alright i have a 90 gst 6 bolt. my head went bad so i bought a brand new one not thinking about the 6/7 situaton. i went to put the head on and noticed its a 7 bolt head. now is there any way of gettin this on? or am i pretty much screwed

Double check this but I'm thinking you have to drill the Bolt passages out for the bigger 1G Fasteners - Seems like MAYBE the Intake Runners on only the 2G Heads don't match the 1G Intake - Yeah - you're screwed. :dsm: ;)

well it is a 1g head and both of the manifolds fit on it perfect, its just getting the head onto the block with the head studs, i have 6 bolt head studs and there too big for the head, is it drillable or am i going to screw somethign up? and if i do drill it, should there be any other problems, thanks

Technically you would drill to within 15 Thousandths of an inch - then Ream to final size - But it is on dowels & I'm sure many have been drilled to fit - Find the bit the absolute closest to the hole sizes size of your dead Head - It would be preferable to do the drilling on a Drill Press.

well i brought it to the machine shop and the guys are goin to try to find the right size, i really hope it doesnt get screwed up, or ill b out of luck. ill tell u all the end results. thanks for the comments
