6bolt w/ 7 bolt parts???????

can i use a 7 bolt pressure plate and a 6 bolt disk and flywheel in a 2g awd im doing the 6 bolt swap fyi. i need help im about to drop it in and the 6 bolt pressure plate looks like hell so can i use my 7 bolt

Yes. As long as you don't plan to use the 7 bolt flywheel, obviously.

The flywheel is the only thing that makes a difference. The clutch disc/pressure plate are universal, but the flywheel has differences in 6 bolt/7 bolt as well as AWD and FWD.

And make sure the rest of the transmission parts are in good shape - tob and clip, fork, pivot ball, etc.

ahh shit I thought I had to drill a hole for that extra bolt! hahah just kidding yea i knew that...I just wanted to make sure I could change the clutch and pressure plate before I put it all back together and then had to tear it all apart again. thought I could because part numbers were same but as I say better safe then sorry! thanks all!!!! finally after three months I might have my car back again!
