2G 6 Bolt swap and ECMlink

    Okay so I have searched high and low for what all I need to select in ECMLink for having a 6Bolt swap. Like are there certain things that need to be selected for the car to run with a 6-Bolt? I have read both RRE and Magnus 6 Bolt in a 7 Bolts webpages. I just want to know if there is anything specific I need to do before start up and while tuning.
    Edit: Also, would love any really good build threads for the swaps that contain lots of information, and any useful links that would help me go through the car. The previous owner and his buddy did the swap and I keep finding some pretty shoddy work on the harness and stuff.

    To answer your question no, you don't select anything for 6 or 7 bolt. What you need to pay attention to is based on your ECU rather than block.

    Are u running a 1g CAS? If you are I believe u need to select invert cas.

    Yes I am running a 1g cas. Okay so invert cas is now on my list to do. This is the kinda items I was asking about not actually selecting what block is in there but any special parameters for having a 6 Bolt swapped.

    Inverting the CAS is one way to do it. The other way is swapping the injector pins around on the ECU. Check to make sure whoever did the swap didn't already do it that way.

    Well it ran when I bought it and drove it 150miles back to my house and for a week then found the turbo was garbage so while the car was down I got in a bind and had to sell something which turned out to be my ECU.either way I will verify the way the previous owner did it whether it is invert the cas or if he repinned the ecu pins. So, I bought a new one and made sure it was a 95' awd ecu, but I didn't really look to see if there was anything special for selecting in ecmlink before I sold my old one and the car will be ready to run this week so covering all ground before I try to start it.

    You are also going to ignore random cylinder miss fire DTC's; run the 2g 4 pin tps sensor or simulate throttle closed function if using 1g 3 pin tps (naming may be a bit off?).
