I am doing a 6 bolt swap in my 95 gsx... Just checking if there is any MAJOR changes when that I am not missing. That way I do not have to remove the engine over and over and make this a month long job.
6 bolt longblock.
CAS harness made by road racing engineering.
did all cuts and shavings needed to put on mounts.
Timing belt and water put changed.
2g fuel rail.
1g throttle body.
replaced the MDP sensor to the brake booster vac line.
All fluids needed for a engine swap.
also have thermostat that will obviously get replaced.
HAVE NOT DONE YET, but I read up on some ECU adjustments.. taking out a couple specific prongs???
Also, I have already purchased the following mods that will be going into this build as it progresses. What can I go ahead and install while I do the swap that will make things easier and not cause problems:
20g turbo
FMIC
780cc injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
manual boost gauge
I know i WILL need a AFPR soon, wideband o2, and dsmlink v3. Anything at all I am missing??? I know I will get chewed up and spit out on this thread, but I rather have experienced people try and walk me through some of this. Thank you.
