6 bolt motor mount,

I am swaping a 6 bolt into my 2g and im using the 7 bolt front motor mount bracket, and my problem is i already know that ive got to trim the one screw hole to get it to fit but the problem im having is the swinging part on the bracket that the tension pulley goes on is hitting the water pump not alowing it to move at all, do i also have to trim that? every post ive read just say to trim the bolt hole, it just seems if i where to trim the tension pulley it'd have to take a ridiculous amount off the bracket to make it work.. idk what im doing wrong, maybe ive got the wrong waterpump or somthing? idk let me know what you guys thinks thanks

You have to use the 1G tensioner arm. Here is a link that should help.

Note, I have modified my tensioner arm so that the timing tensioner tool still works perfectly.
it did require some welding on the tensioner arm.
I tried to post the mod here but I can't because Im still on probation
If you put some effort into making the tensioner work on the engine stand, it will make timing belt swaps a LOT easier.

I just did this yesterday. You need to use the 1g tensioner arm and you need to grind down the 2g motor mount to clear the water pump. You will figure out how much once you try putting the water pump on.
