Would be a good deal and car to start on to make a full purpose track car. I especially like the black painted cardboard he has there in place of where the radio and air control centre was

The cage itself has a couple of extra tubes but overall he did a good job of tying into the body structure. So being a remotely street legal car its a good deal and has good potential.

Nah...more like $1500 to $1800. That was the quote I got from a local rollcage fabricator. Of course, I had to strip out the interior first, but that's to be expected. OTOH, the car is in California, where everything costs twice as much as it should, so maybe you are right.

its a chromoly cage, fyi, i dunno how much that bumps the price up, but i know its fairly more expensive than steel (material wise, labor will be the same)
