I was considering either of these turbos and both are rated at about 600 hp. The PTE is about 450 dollars cheaper but the FP red is a pretty proven turbo on dsms and evos. Both are journal bearing and probably spool within a couple 100 rpm of each other.
 
Yep....you got it. Also, PTE's reliability is an issue on their Journal bearing turbos. You can't go wrong with MHI quality.

Id like me a 5857 bb, with a tial housing. I'm pretty sure all of that could be had under the cost of a red.
